ICOMS Route Planning Solution enables entities to optimise and automate the planning of waste collection routes. It combines Smart Waste Management System and Driver Navigation App, and it incorporates data from Smart Sensors.

Our Route Planning enables automated management of the waste collection routes based on precise pre-defined data regarding waste collection vehicles, depots, and landfills/ incineration sides. The aim is that every single waste collection route is planned to maximise the utility of the resources (fleet, FTEs, time) and minimise the costs needed to perform the job.

Operators schedule all routes in the Smart Waste Management System, and drivers can access them in the Driver Navigation App. The Driver Navigation App provides turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation via the shortest, completely safe, and most accessible route.

Route Planning solution results in fewer kilometres driven per kilogram of collected waste and the full utilisation of vehicle capacity and time. More efficient routes help minimise the negative impacts of waste collection in the city with less noise pollution, less air pollution, and fewer traffic congestions.

ICOMS Fleet Management Platform offers easy-to-use daily management of vehicles and routes. Operators are given a detailed and complete overview of all the operations made in the field and in the depot, including the progress status and cost, as well as the ability to update the ongoing routes in real time and locate the trucks on the map.

The Fleet Management Solution can be easily combined with ICOMS Route Planning Solution to maximise fleet efficiency. Route Planning solution enables automated scheduling of the waste collection routes based on precise pre-defined data regarding waste collection vehicles, depots, and landfills/incineration sides.
